A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join a dynamic team in Allentown, PA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for advocating on behalf of individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others. This position provides the opportunity to handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including trial preparation, settlement negotiations, and client interaction. The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with senior attorneys.

Duties:

  • Manage all phases of personal injury cases, from initial investigation to settlement or trial.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Collaborate with partners on selected cases and assist with case strategy.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing consistent communication and updates on case progress.
  • Contribute to the overall growth of the firm by providing quality legal representation and support to senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Proven experience in taking depositions, preparing for trials, and negotiating settlements.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation experience in personal injury law.
  • Excellent research, writing, and legal analysis skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex legal processes and effectively represent clients.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal software and case management tools.
