Assistant District Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant District Attorney is responsible for performing a variety of professional duties involved in providing a full range of legal services related to County government operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Prosecuting criminal offenses, including misdemeanors and felonies.
- Assisting in juvenile cases, which include neglect, delinquency, and child in need of supervision cases.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
Minimum requirements for the position of Assistant District Attorney include:
- A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Responsible legal experience in government, criminal, and civil law is preferred.
- Admission to the Oklahoma State Bar and in good standing is mandatory.
Salary Information:
The salary for the position of Assistant District Attorney is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, full State of Oklahoma benefits are offered, including a generous monthly allowance for health coverage, paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly, and paid holidays.
