Job Title: Business Development Manager (Remote)
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue and build brand loyalty by developing and nurturing relationships with law firms and corporations.
- Target and prospect lawyers at all levels in law firms practicing competition law and dispute resolution, and corporate decision makers in Legal and Compliance to develop new relationships.
- Identify and develop new opportunities and leads for Legal Technology services (eDiscovery, computer forensic, and other consulting services) with corporations and law firms.
- Achieve and surpass revenue goals for opportunities and accounts.
- Provide product and service demonstrations to help potential clients understand value-add, leading to revenue goal achievements.
- Create accurate project estimates and clear Letters of Engagement.
- Provide necessary client project support to ensure high client satisfaction, creating new opportunities from satisfied clients.
- Provide other support as requested to reach the collective goals of the team.
- This position may require after-hours and weekend work. International travel may be required, in line with business needs. The candidate must be able to travel via conventional means for up to 20 hours, including local, regional, and/or international travel.
Education and Experience Information:
- University graduate, legal degree preferred.
- Experience and established record of effectively selling a complex technical product or service.
- Proven ability to gain an audience and credibility with C-Level and senior level decision-makers in information technology, legal, compliance, and law firms.
- Persuasive communication, presentation, and product demonstration experience.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Ability to conduct benefit-oriented demonstrations of review platforms including Nebula and Relativity.
- Understanding of the litigation process with previous experience selling a litigation product or solution preferred.
- Exposure to platforms such as Relativity, Ringtail, or Nuix would be beneficial.
- Any computer forensic, eDiscovery software, network security, and/or investigative certifications are considered a plus.
- Existing relationships with law firms within the established region will be highly regarded.
Salary Information:
- Competitive total compensation includes base pay, bonus potential, inclusive benefits, wellness programs, and perks.
- Base pay range for this position is $75,000 to $130,000 with sales commission plan eligibility.
- Compensation varies based on market and industry data, geography and labor markets, individual experience, and business needs.
