Job Title: Senior Manager, Contracts (Onsite)
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager, Contracts will have a leadership role within the Global Patriot program area, specifically supporting the NATO Program portfolio. This position involves oversight and guidance to a team of Contracts Professionals, focusing on Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) related to the Patriot system's production, integration, technical assistance, and sustainment for NATO and partner countries. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervisory duties over a team of contract professionals, ensuring proper contract acquisition and fulfillment according to company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Leading the front-end assessment of business pursuits and overseeing proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract management, and significant customer activities.
- Applying strong business acumen and subject matter expertise to understand program performance requirements and develop contractual and negotiation strategies.
- Providing strategic advice on contractual rights, obligations, regulations, and policies to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes.
- Ensuring proposals meet customer requirements, represent a balanced risk/opportunity posture, and deliver a financially sound business case while adhering to company standards.
- Coaching and managing the NATO contracts team to enhance the quality and capability of the contracts organization.
- Working closely with Program Management leadership, the Office of General Counsel, and cross-functional peers for program gate reviews, risk management activities, and other contractual matters.
Education and Experience Information:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Direct Commercial Sales contracting for development, production, sustainment, and services.
- Experience with proposal development, including fact-finding and negotiations.
- Preferred qualifications include experience working contracts with international partners, an MBA or Juris Doctor, and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and develop effective relationships.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this role is between $124,000 and $250,000. This range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The company considers various factors when extending an offer, including role responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
