GCM Transaction Management Leader III
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain procedures and guidelines for the transaction management model and the Structured Finance product expansion. This includes working with all support and operational groups to develop document standards suitable to the Company.
- Maintain a significant market presence for the business by attending conferences, assisting sales with client meetings, and facilitating calls and presentations with rating agencies as required.
- Participate in industry-wide initiatives as well as internal product development initiatives.
- Assist Sales with business development initiatives.
- Serve as an internal liaison for all support groups surrounding the Structured Finance Product Expansion.
- Address escalated client issues and ensure they are prioritized appropriately.
- Maintain relationships as a business line leader with industry law firms, investment banks, deal parties, and rating agencies.
- Manage multiple Transaction Management Leaders for specific asset types if needed.
- Maintain profitability for the entire Transaction Management Team.
- Exercise the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management, and terminations.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Design, implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the Company brand.
- Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years’ related experience. Alternatively, a combined minimum of 13 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 9 years’ related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience.
- Proven experience negotiating legal contracts.
Education and Experience Preferred:
- MBA (Master’s degree in Business Administration) or JD (Juris Doctor).
- Minimum of 15 years’ related experience.
- Strong legal background.
Salary Information:
The Company is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for employees. The pay range for this position is $170, - $283, Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
