H1: Senior Energy Project Finance Attorneys Needed for Multiple US Offices at Top Law Firm
If you have over five years of experience in the energy industry and a strong background in project finance, Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking two senior-level project finance attorneys to join our Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to join a global AmLaw 50 full-service law firm with over 1,200 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. Our Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance team represents some of the largest and most innovative energy industry players, offering you the chance to work on high-profile transactions and gain valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
Work on a variety of transactions related to the development, acquisition, and financing of renewable energy projects
Represent sponsors and financing parties
Draft and negotiate debt and equity documents
Communicate directly with clients and third-party advisors
Manage junior associates on transactions and take ownership of projects
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy industry at a large law firm or in-house counsel role
Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
Excellent oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills
Admitted to and in good standing with the state bar in which you reside
Key Skills:
Project finance work in the energy industry with a strong emphasis on debt or tax equity/M&A
Familiarity with drafting and negotiating debt and equity documents
Knowledge of project development and operation contracts
Ability to manage a transaction and work effectively as part of a team
Salary Information:
Pay range of $365,000 - $455,000 per year
