Overview:
**Members Only**, one of the country's leading creditor's rights law firms, is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Charlotte, NC office. The firm has offices in California, New York, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, and Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for and handle court appearances within reasonable travel distance
- Request coverage for court calls where Associate will not appear
- Draft, review, and file necessary motions during litigation
- Prepare for trials/arbitrations, including overnight stays in distant counties
- Communicate with consumers, their employers, and their attorneys to resolve accounts/suits
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
- Comfortable appearing in court and able to consistently arrive on time using own transportation
- Willingness to travel, with reimbursement for expenses according to IRS published mileage rates
- Strong multitasking skills and excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
