Job Title: Senior Counsel, Autonomy & Robotics

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide pragmatic day-to-day and strategic legal advice to the Labs product, engineering, and operations teams to minimize legal risks while advancing business goals.
- Serve as the lead product and regulatory attorney for the Labs team, advising on federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to drone delivery, robot delivery, and other automation and hardware technologies.
- Oversee commercial deals that are essential for operations and product development.
- Act as a liaison between the Labs team and relevant legal team experts in areas such as privacy and data security, intellectual property, employment, and real estate counseling.
- Synthesize input from outside counsel, conduct personal research, and gather feedback from internal stakeholders to provide practical guidance to the team.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 8 years of practicing law at a top-tier firm, in-house, and/or in government.
- Possession of a . and authorization to practice law in the . state where the candidate is located.
- Experience and interest in technology, particularly with hardware products and automated technology.
- Familiarity with launching products and advising on the legal and regulatory aspects of product development in the technology sector.
- Comfort in interacting with federal, state, and local regulators.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior business leaders on top-level issues while also addressing detailed inquiries and emergencies.
- Capability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
- Positive attitude and high emotional intelligence (EQ).
- Alignment with the company's values, including a "bias for action," and the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and think strategically about organization and process.

Salary Information:
- The base pay for this position ranges from $214,200 to $315,000 USD, depending on the geographical market within the United States.
- Compensation includes opportunities for equity grants.
