Job Title: Intellectual Property Associate - Electrical Engineering

Job Responsibilities:
The Intellectual Property Associate will join the Intellectual Property Litigation practice at the law firm, working within any of the . offices. The role involves engaging in intellectual property matters, particularly focusing on patent and/or trade secret issues. The associate is expected to conduct excellent research and writing, work independently, and display strong advocacy skills. The position demands a commitment to maintaining collegiality among lawyers, contributing to a professionally and personally rewarding practice. The associate will be involved in significant cases, including competitor versus competitor disputes and handling proceedings before the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Education and Experience Information:
- Required: A bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Two to four years in intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret.
- Skills: Excellent academic credentials, superior writing and communication skills, entrepreneurial drive, initiative, grit, and a strong work ethic.
- Admission: Must be a member of the State Bar of the office location.

Salary Information:
The expected salary range for the Intellectual Property Associate position is between $235,000 and $310,000. This compensation is part of a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package offered by the law firm. The exact salary within this range will depend on various job-related factors, including qualifications, relevant experience or education, skills, expertise, and geography. Additional compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus based on firm and individual performance.
