Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of practice experience and be licensed to practice law in Tennessee. As a member of our Litigation team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging cases and receive mentorship from experienced attorneys. Responsibilities:

- Assess new cases and develop action plans, budgets, and recommendations
- Delegate tasks to paralegals and oversee their work
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
- Negotiate settlements and prepare for trial as necessary
- Maintain communication with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate degree and active Tennessee bar license
- 3-5 years of practice experience, preferably in insurance defense
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new database management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
