Job Title: Litigation Staff Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in sophisticated and challenging litigation work for clients in Ohio and nationwide.
- Draft and respond to nationwide discovery-related documents, including written discovery and motions.
- Coordinate novel discovery issues with other counsel.
- Prepare document productions.
- Assist in deposition preparation.
- Work closely with clients and expert witnesses.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality while working independently.
Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Valid Ohio bar license.
- Minimum of 3+ years of general litigation experience.
- Background in product liability and/or toxic tort litigation is ideal.
- Strong technological skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals, and technologies.
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases, and the Internet.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Project management skills, including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit in a static position for up to one-half hour at a time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally, for up to one hour per day.
- Ability to bend and stoop occasionally, for up to one-half hour per day.

Additional Information:
- The position will ideally work hybrid in the Toledo, Ohio office, but there is flexibility for working in either the Akron or Columbus, Ohio office.
