Salary: $82,198 + $4,775 location pay

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar within 18 months of appointment
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to draft opinions in complex commercial matters
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drafting decisions and orders for a Justice in the Commercial Division
- Assisting with discovery disputes
- Assisting with case scheduling conferences
- Managing the Justice's case inventory
- Reviewing and researching evidentiary issues
- Drafting jury instructions and verdict sheets
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Assignment: This position is assigned to Hon. Anar Rathod Patel and will commence in September 2025. Commercial Division Law Clerks are appointed to a one-year clerkship, renewable four times at the judge's discretion.
General Information: This position may require reassignment to any position in the same title within the promotion unit of the Unified Court System. Applications received from this announcement may be used to fill any vacancies in this title within the next six months.
