Duties:

  • Represent clients in a broad range of family law matters including:

    • Divorce

    • Child custody and visitation

    • Spousal and child support disputes

    • Property and asset division

    • Mental health and education-related legal issues

  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and settlement agreements

  • Provide practical, compassionate legal advice to clients during sensitive and emotionally charged situations

  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal support staff to deliver exceptional client service

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload

  • Track record of delivering favorable outcomes in family law cases

  • Professional demeanor and ability to engage clients with empathy and respect

  • Commitment to ethical practice and high standards of legal representation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Virginia

  • Member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical capabilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Skilled in negotiation and mediation techniques
