Commercial Litigation Associate - Los Angeles

**Members Only** US LLP is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join our team in Los Angeles. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level or senior associate with at least 5 years of complex litigation experience to work on sophisticated cases and collaborate with our team of dedicated lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, from inception through trials and appeals
- Draft complex case evaluations and prepare briefs, pleadings, motions, and other court documents
- Manage complex disputes, including overseeing discovery and conducting depositions
- Work with clients, witnesses, experts, and other counsel
- Conduct legal research and write memoranda

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $325,000 to $365,000, based on experience and in compliance with California law. Position Requirements:

Personal Skills/Attributes:

- Exceptional writing and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research into meaningful written work product
- Dedicated and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic
- Superior organizational and time-management skills
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate advice to clients and colleagues

Technical Skills:

- At least 5 years of complex litigation experience, including false advertising and consumer class action experience
- Strong writing and case management skills, with direct experience handling clients and adversaries, and excellent oral advocacy skills
- Previous law firm experience preferred
- Deposition and court experience preferred
- Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship a plus

Other Requirements:

- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California and be in good standing
- Must include a law school transcript and writing sample with application
- Must include a cover letter detailing complex litigation experience, including false advertising and consumer class action experience
- Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and clients
