The Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill positions in the Appellate Court Attorney series. These positions offer a base salary of $96,594 plus $4,775 location pay, and are located in Brooklyn, NY.

As an Appellate Court Attorney, you will research and analyze legal issues and questions for the court, as well as perform other related duties. This position requires admission to the New York State Bar and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Experience in the Appellate Court Attorney title is preferred, but equivalent legal experience will also be considered. Applicants must also have knowledge of the law and trial procedures, and possess excellent skills in organizing, analyzing, and interpreting legal issues. Strong writing and communication skills are also necessary for this role.
