Job Title: Tax Manager - Private Wealth

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager in the Private Wealth Tax practice, the candidate will be responsible for performing high-level reviews of tax research related to individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift work papers and tax returns. The role involves preparing and leading client meetings on compliance and consulting projects, focusing on tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for training, mentoring, and supervising new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors. The role includes taking on lead client-contact roles, conducting billing and profitability analysis on engagements, and contributing to marketplace eminence building and pursuits.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience is required, with at least 3 years in investment management.
- Candidates must hold one of the following accreditations: Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, Licensed attorney, or Enrolled Agent.
- Certifications such as Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) are relevant.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field is required.
- Experience in reviewing partnership and/or trust documents is necessary.
- Candidates should have experience managing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with excellent research and writing skills, are essential.

Preferred qualifications include:
- An advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM.
- Prior experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role is estimated to be between $93,660 and $213,200, considering factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is typical for an individual not to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the governing rules, with an award based on individual and organizational performance.

The position requires the ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week, and the ability to travel up to 25% on average, depending on the work, clients, and industries/sectors served.
