Job Title: Summer Law Student Clerkship
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with supervising attorneys in all aspects of the Workers’ Rights Program.
- Conduct one-on-one consultations with low-income, primarily monolingual Spanish-speaking workers at legal clinics.
- Assist workers in preparing claims related to wage theft, workplace discrimination, and retaliation.
- Conduct legal research and prepare briefs to support workers’ claims through both administrative advocacy and litigation.
- Represent workers in conferences or hearings before the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.
Education and Experience Information:
