Position Summary
Law Firm is seeking an experienced lateral associate with a minimum of three years of experience for its Orange County office. This position will provide legal advice, strategy, and counsel to clients in a variety of practice areas, including corporate, financial services, litigation, and intellectual property.

This position will provide legal advice, strategy, and counsel to clients in a variety of practice areas, including corporate, financial services, litigation, and intellectual property.

Salary Range:
The annual compensation range for this position is between $215,000 and $415,000. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.

Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience in a legal practice.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice, strategy, and counsel to clients in a variety of practice areas, including corporate, financial services, litigation, and intellectual property.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Analyze legal and factual issues, and provide advice and counsel to clients.
• Conduct legal research, and draft legal memoranda and opinions.
• Manage cases from inception to completion, including trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
• Work with other attorneys and staff in the Department to ensure the efficient handling of matters.
• Keep clients informed of developments in their matters.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior associates.

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the relevant state bar.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a legal practice.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff.
