Job Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of Workers’ Compensation Defense cases, including depositions, court appearances, and negotiations.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies.
• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend hearings and mediations.
• Manage a large caseload effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on cases.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation Defense.
• Must be licensed to practice law in at least one of the following states: Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with case management software and legal research tools.
