Job Title: Tax Senior Manager, Asset Management
Location: Irvine, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA; Tempe, AZ
Salary Range: $123,200 - $249,300
Experience Level: Experienced
Job Description:
- Build and manage client relationships as the first point of contact for internal and external clients
- Manage a portfolio of large clients and provide advice on tactical issues
- Have a high level of responsibility for service delivery and manage teams of tax professionals and assistants
- Handle risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and budget management
- Assess tax impact on clients, develop tax arguments, and provide recommendations
- Participate in market and business activities and provide direction to a team
- Act as a coach and mentor to other tax professionals
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years of recent experience as a tax senior manager in a public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, or other approved credentials listed by KPMG
- Alternative investments experience in investment partnerships and/or mutual fund tax
- Proficiency in taxation of corporations, consolidated entities, and partnerships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and service teams
