Duties

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters, independently or under senior attorney supervision

  • Handle state and federal court proceedings and administrative agency litigation

  • Draft and prepare legal documents including briefs, memoranda, opinion letters, and correspondence

  • Participate in strategic planning for national-level class action lawsuits

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant substantive law and court procedures

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, courts, consultants, and opposing counsel

  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues

  • Respond promptly to court deadlines, internal needs, and client matters, including under time constraints

  • Contribute to high-profile cases with opportunities to take on leadership roles

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience

  • Demonstrated interest in class action, employment, or consumer protection litigation

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in collaboration with a team

  • Capacity to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state of California (in good standing)

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities

  • Familiarity with federal and state court rules and litigation procedures
