Litigation Attorney (Junior Associate level) The candidate will analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies. Will conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions. Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs. Drafting, processing, and digesting discovery. Communicate with lead attorneys, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Represent clients in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in a broad range of employment matters, including wage & hour, whistleblowing, wrongful termination, and discrimination.

The candidate should have 1-2 years of federal civil litigation experience is required, and must have a firm grasp of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Must display strong legal research and writing skills - a law review/law journal background is preferred. Should have strong organizational and time management skills. Experience managing information (., time records and class data) in Excel and communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required. Virginia Bar license is required. Bar admission to Maryland, the District of Columbia, New York and/or North Carolina is a plus. Should preferably have some prior wage & hour and/or collective and class litigation experience.
