Job Title: Tax Senior, National Tax Accounting Group
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior in the National Tax Accounting Group (NTAG), you will be responsible for:
- Working on engagement teams to provide tax accounting services to non-attest clients.
- Collaborating closely with Managers and Senior Managers to prepare and review income tax provision calculations and assist in delivering provision services.
- Expanding the ASC 740 skills of the team, driving innovation, enhancing cross-service line teaming, and building the company brand.
- Mentoring and developing engagement Staff and Interns by providing leadership and guidance on technical and other professional development.
- Actively participating in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation.
Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate, in person, 2-3 days per week.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or another business-related field.
- 3+ years of experience with income taxes in accordance with ASC 740 and/or IFRS.
- A background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation.
- Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) or other similar provision software.
- Experience in a professional services or comparable tax organization.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office (if eligible to sit for the CPA).
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)
- Professional Engineer
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as MST or MAcc.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple, competing priorities.
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,570 to $151,580.
