A respected regional law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney to join its growing practice group. This full-time position is ideal for an attorney with up to five years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and related matters. Location

  • Erie, Pennsylvania

Duties

  • Assist clients with estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and other related documents

  • Advise clients on tax strategies and wealth preservation

  • Handle probate and estate administration matters

  • Research and analyze legal issues related to estate and trust law

  • Draft legal memoranda, correspondence, and documentation

  • Work closely with partners, associates, and clients to meet case objectives

  • Participate in client meetings and long-term planning initiatives

Requirements

  • 0–5 years of experience in trusts and estates law preferred

  • Demonstrated interest or academic background in trusts, estate law, or tax planning

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills

  • Willingness to learn and grow within a structured mentorship environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

  • Background in accounting, finance, or economics is a plus

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain promptly)

Skills

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
