Law Firm is seeking a skilled Patent Counsel with a background in biotechnology and chemistry to support our clients in the pharmaceutical and related industries. As a Patent Counsel, you will be responsible for prosecuting patents in the United States and abroad for our clients in the biotechnology, chemical, pharmaceutical, and related industries. You must be licensed to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office and have a minimum of six years experience in patent prosecution. Your background should include an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, or physics, with specific experience in organic and/or polymer chemistry, biochemistry, genomics, bioinformatics, pharmaceuticals, drug delivery, diagnostics, or medical devices being a plus.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently with limited supervision, while also collaborating with other attorneys. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging and complex patent matters, providing you with the opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge in the field of intellectual property law.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients in the biotechnology and chemical industries, providing valuable legal advice and guidance on patent prosecution and protection. You will also have the chance to work with other attorneys within our firm, leveraging your combined expertise to provide comprehensive and effective legal solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prosecuting patents in the United States and abroad for clients in the biotechnology, chemical, pharmaceutical, and related industries
• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on patent prosecution and protection
• Collaborating with other attorneys within the firm to develop comprehensive and effective legal solutions for clients
• Staying up-to-date on current laws and regulations related to intellectual property and patent law

Requirements:
