A reputable, multi-state law firm is seeking a motivated and reliable Associate Attorney to join its Litigation team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position offers an excellent opportunity for either a newly licensed attorney or a junior-level associate to develop strong litigation skills in a professional, collaborative environment. One-on-one mentorship from senior attorneys is available, along with the opportunity to manage a caseload and gain hands-on experience in courtroom advocacy and trial preparation.
Las Vegas, Nevada
Conduct legal research and draft legal briefs, motions, and discovery requests/responses
Participate in litigation strategy, trial preparation, and case analysis
Appear in court for hearings and law and motion matters
Handle depositions, including taking and defending
Work closely with supervising partners and legal staff to manage litigation cases from inception to resolution
Maintain detailed case documentation and ensure deadlines are met
Strong interest in litigation and courtroom advocacy
Should have 0-1 year of experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the State Bar of Nevada (or pending with intention to be admitted shortly)
Legal research and writing
Courtroom presentation and oral advocacy
Deposition preparation and execution
Knowledge of civil procedure and litigation process
Proficient in legal software and case management systems
Attention to detail and critical thinking
Professional development and mentorship for newer attorneys
