Job Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, including trials and hearings.
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Provide legal advice on Environmental Law and Workers Compensation matters.
- Ensure compliance with Tribal Law regulations where applicable.
- Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines effectively.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff in a law office environment.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in litigating cases and conducting negotiations.
- Familiarity with Legal Administrative tasks related to case management.
- Experience in Environmental Law, Workers Compensation Law, Estate Planning, or Tribal Law regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Salary Information:
- Pay: $120, - $150, per year
