**Members Only** is seeking a Legal Advisor to join their team and assist with the coordination, administration, and management of legal matters for the CRA. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $75,000-$130,000 and offers an exciting opportunity for a Juris Doctor with relevant experience.

General Description:
The CRA Legal Advisor position is responsible for providing legal advice, direction, and recommendations to CRA staff in the best interests of the CRA and the CRA District. This role will also facilitate real property acquisitions, negotiations, and drafting/reviewing of contracts, leases, and other legal documents.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and recommendations to CRA staff in the best interests of the CRA and CRA District
- Facilitate real property acquisitions, dispositions, and leases
- Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, leases, bid documents, and other legal documents
- Draft and review resolutions for CRA Board agenda items
- Respond to public records requests related to the CRA
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Provide legal opinions and advise on matters such as Public Records Law, ethics, and Sunshine Law
- Represent the CRA at board meetings on all legal matters
- Interpret federal, state, and local laws pertaining to contracts, real estate transactions, public agencies, construction, land use and development, and lending
- Stay current on legal issues and precedents affecting the CRA
- Other duties as assigned

Education, Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in government, public sector, real estate, construction, or related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal direction
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships with various parties
- Knowledge of MS Office Systems and Office Suites
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and practices related to the position
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
