Location:

Duties:

  • Handle litigation cases in state and federal courts, with a focus on negligence, employment practices, coverage, and product liability matters.
  • Provide legal analysis, research, and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to ensure effective case management.
  • Take on increasing levels of responsibility as the candidate progresses.
  • Assist in business development and client relations, with origination credit for new business.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to the New York State Bar (Class of 2024 or earlier).
  • Strong interest in hands-on litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • A desire to take on increased responsibility in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar or eligibility for admission is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the New York State Bar (required).
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar is a plus (or eligibility for admission).

  • Strong legal writing and research skills.
  • Proficiency in legal analysis and case management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
