Job Overview: A reputable and growing personal injury law firm is looking for an experienced Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join its litigation team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for immediate first-chair jury trial experience, as well as involvement in depositions, arbitrations, motion hearings, and case management. The firm represents clients across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and while a license in both states is preferred, it is not required. Location:

  • Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including jury trials, depositions, arbitrations, and motion hearings.
  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from start to finish.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct depositions and prepare clients and witnesses for trial.
  • Attend and represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediation sessions.
  • Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements.
  • Maintain client communication and provide regular case updates.
  • Participate in business development activities to generate new clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiffs' personal injury litigation.
  • Strong courtroom experience, including jury trials and motion hearings.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
  • Motivated, hardworking, and dedicated to providing excellent client service.
  • Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work environments.
  • License to practice law in Pennsylvania; New Jersey license is preferred but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar (New Jersey Bar is a plus).

Skills:

  • Plaintiffs' personal injury law expertise.
  • Trial preparation and first-chair trial experience.
  • Legal research, writing, and case management.
  • Deposition, arbitration, and mediation experience.
  • Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
