Job Title: Construction Litigation Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
The Construction Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling cases related to construction contract litigation. The ideal candidate should have experience in disputes involving delay or disruption claims, mechanic’s liens, stop notices, and change orders. Essential duties include:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to construction disputes.
- Representing clients in depositions, oral arguments, and trials.
- Providing legal advice and strategies to clients involved in construction litigation.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff on complex legal matters.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations affecting construction litigation.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have a law degree and be a member of the California Bar. The position requires four to seven years of quality experience in construction contract litigation. Experience with deposition, oral argument, and trial is advantageous but not mandatory.
Salary Information:
Compensation for this role is merit-based and varies based on experience, location, and productivity. For a fourth-year attorney in San Diego, the estimated salary is no less than $175,000 annually. The compensation package includes a generous objective and subjective bonus program, with increases based on experience and exceeding productivity expectations.
