Job Title:
Legal Counsel - Commercial Litigation
Job Responsibilities:
As a member of the commercial litigation team, the Legal Counsel will provide legal support for all products and businesses. The responsibilities include managing the day-to-day progress of complex litigation, formulating and driving legal strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The role requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment, and a trial-focused approach. The Legal Counsel will operate as part of a supportive team of lawyers, legal specialists, and support staff to protect the company's interests. Travel is anticipated in this role.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 4+ years of consumer class action litigation experience at a major law firm and/or in-house
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent
- Admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in litigating privacy and AI-related disputes
- A strong interest in and aptitude for technology
- Meaningful trial and/or arbitration experience
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
Salary Information:
The base pay range for this role is between $193,000 and $290,100. The actual base pay will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The compensation package includes the opportunity to become a shareholder through participation in discretionary employee stock programs, eligibility for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and the ability to purchase stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
