Job Title: Manager, Employment Investigations

Job Responsibilities:
As a Manager, Employment Investigations at the company, the primary responsibility is to lead a team that conducts thorough and fair investigations into employment-related matters. This involves background research, investigative interviews, and debrief meetings in collaboration with Employment Law, HR, Employee Relations Business Partners, and the business. The role includes managing investigations both locally and cross-regionally.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of investigators handling complex workplace investigations from start to finish.
- Setting clear expectations and goals for the team and removing operational barriers.
- Communicating strategic information and context from the organization to the team.
- Assigning cases and projects that align with team strengths, skills, and motivations, and adjusting management style to meet individual needs.
- Creating a work environment where differences are valued, and everyone feels appreciated.
- Recognizing individual contributions and matching strengths and skills to impactful work.
- Providing and seeking timely feedback and ensuring the team's overall health.
- Helping team members build productive relationships and collaborating with partners on shared goals.
- Empowering team members to execute priorities and holding them accountable for success.
- Managing complex employment-related investigations across various company office locations globally.
- Partnering closely with global cross-functional partners within Employment Law, HR, Employee Relations, Security, Internal Audit, and business units.
- Investigating complaints involving violations of law or policy, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other inappropriate behaviors.
- Identifying systemic issues and utilizing data to develop long-term solutions.
- Providing timely communication to all relevant parties throughout the investigation process.
- Remaining respectful and empathetic during difficult and uncomfortable investigation situations.

Education and Experience Information:
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in investigating and advising on employment-related matters.
- At least 3 years of experience in people management.
- Experience conducting investigations that withstand legal scrutiny in various jurisdictions.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience fostering collaborative relationships in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience documenting investigation findings and recommendations.
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to leadership or those with differing opinions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with a demonstrated track record of working with data.
- Flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience identifying relevant legal issues.
- Project management experience at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Formal training and/or Certification in Workplace Investigations.
- Experience in conducting and/or managing investigations or practicing labor and employment law.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $143,000 to $207,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The listed compensation details reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses, equity, or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base compensation, the company offers benefits.
