Our law firm, **Members Only**, is seeking a Summer Associate to join our team in Ann Arbor. Our Summer Program is also offered in our Austin, Bay Area, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Diego offices. It is designed to provide hands-on experience and better insight into life as a junior associate at our firm. As a Summer Associate, you will have the opportunity to work directly with partners and associates in our three core practice areas: Corporate, Fund Formation, and Strategic Transactions & Licensing.

Experience Real Transactions & Projects
As a Summer Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on real, meaningful assignments in a variety of practice areas, including venture financings, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, privacy compliance, and venture fund formation. Our Summer Program committee team oversees work assignments to ensure a diverse mix of transactions and teams, giving you exposure to the full company lifecycle and client needs.

Plus, you'll have the opportunity to develop informal mentor relationships through work assignments, training programs, and social events.

At **Members Only**, we value hard work and humility. We are looking for law students who demonstrate the skills and business acumen to integrate successfully and contribute immediately. Our ideal Summer Associate candidates have a strong academic record, excellent interpersonal skills, strong business judgment, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an interest in the emerging companies and venture capital legal space. Prior experience in technology or life sciences at a startup or in a venture environment is a plus.

Eligibility for 1L Diversity Fellowship & 2L Summer Associate Positions
We welcome 1Ls to apply for our Gunderson 1L Diversity Fellowship, which provides detailed information on eligibility and the application process. Rising 2Ls are also eligible for 2L Summer Associate positions and can engage with us through career fairs and OCI recruitment at various law schools.
