Job Title:
Manager, Contracts (Onsite)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies.
- Professionally represent the company on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships.
- Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contract execution, as well as general contract administration.
- Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise.
- Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks.
- Be a strong business partner with others and work well in a team environment, and defer to management as appropriate.
- Some travel may be required to support meetings and negotiations.
Education and Experience Information:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Experience working with US Government (USG) contracts and/or Commercial contracts that include Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective and sustaining relationships with customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Business acumen with financial understanding of the business.
- Effective critical and strategic thinking and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a position requiring multi-tasking and handling several assignments concurrently or similar project management or coordination.
- Advanced Degrees such as JD Law Degree or MBA or relevant Contracts Certifications such as CPCM or CFCM.
- Active US Government DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The company considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
