Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of personal injury litigation
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Conduct depositions of witnesses and experts, both taking and defending
- Engage in mediations, pre-trial hearings, and make court appearances
- Try cases to jurors in Ohio courts
- Manage some pre-litigation files
- Interview clients and witnesses, gather evidence, and develop case strategies
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies
- Collaborate closely with paralegals, investigators, and support staff
- Maintain meticulous case records and documentation
- Stay updated on legal developments affecting personal injury practice

Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in plaintiff or defense personal injury practice
- Strong grasp of case management, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
- Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage a caseload both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling motor vehicle accident cases, including truck accidents
- Trial experience, with at least one jury trial preferred
- Active membership in the Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Association for Justice, or American Association for Justice
- Civil trial advocacy certification is a plus

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is between 64,902 and 75,991 per year.
