Job Title: Compliance Specialist, Regulatory Readiness & Response, PMO
Job Responsibilities:
As a Compliance Specialist within the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) function at Company, you will play a critical role in managing risks and ensuring the firm adheres to global regulatory and reporting requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading day-to-day program management activities, tracking the progress of E&C initiatives, resolving roadblocks, and escalating items for senior support.
- Providing input into building a robust ecosystem of program management systems and tools to drive program execution.
- Supporting the implementation and enhancement of software solutions for program management tracking.
- Engaging in conceptual, technical, and analytical problem-solving related to complex program challenges.
- Defining and maintaining program-level reporting on progress, outcomes, risks, and mitigants, and collaborating with stakeholders to accurately reflect these dimensions in reports.
- Collecting data and preparing regular updates for firm leadership, E&C program oversight committees, and E&C leadership on the status of initiatives responding to regulatory obligations.
- Leading the production of progress updates to internal and external stakeholders on ethics and compliance-related topics.
- Identifying and discussing dependencies between different actions undertaken and recommending management strategies for these dependencies.
- Providing "surge" support to workstreams and/or action owners for content development based on program needs.
- Contributing as a thought partner within the E&C function and supporting key organizational, operational, or strategic initiatives.
- Engaging in regionally focused initiatives to promote the firm's E&C program and support activities in your region or location.
- Collaborating with cross-functional and senior stakeholder groups across the firm on procedures, policies, or guidelines.
- Playing a critical role in sustaining and evolving the firm's E&C program and upholding the commitment to integrity and lawful practices.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced degree(s) and/or applicable professional certifications (., Juris Doctor or CPA) preferred.
- 5+ years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in driving and implementing holistic E&C programs, particularly around regulatory response.
- Strong organizational capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local office languages, with the ability to adjust style for different perspectives and seniority levels.
- Proficiency in rational decision-making based on data, facts, and logical reasoning.
- Ability to create work product-focused materials/outputs, such as PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables.
- Exceptional time management skills to meet responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment, with the ability to work outside of traditional business hours when necessary.
- Experience or strong working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the US is preferred.
- Required experience in large-scale, complex transformation.
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset to progress on ambiguous problems and see them through to resolution.
- Builds trust-based relationships with leaders within and outside of the team; collaborates generously and is sought after as a key thought partner.
Salary Information:
For new joiners in Canada and/or the United States, the estimated salary range is $112,900 - $176,800 in USD and $125,600 - $157,000 in CAD. This range reflects the best estimate of the lowest to highest salary for this role at the time of posting. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as office location, experience, skills, start date, and organizational needs. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonuses, subject to Company’s discretion.
