Job Title: 2026 2L Intellectual Property Summer Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Summer Associate Program, which serves as a cornerstone for the recruitment of outstanding associates and the future success of the law firm.
- Engage in several projects across different practice areas, working with various lawyers in . offices.
- Observe and, when possible, assist in trials, hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
- Participate in client meetings and closings.
- Engage in substantive and challenging work assignments, including Pro Bono matters.
- Receive mentoring from partners and associates.
- Work in a collaborative work environment.
- Attend writing skills training sessions.
- Receive guidance and detailed feedback on work product.
- Network at various social events.
- Participate in interactive training workshops, including M&A and deposition skills.
Education and Experience Information:
- Rising second-year law student expected to graduate between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Law students with outstanding academic credentials, superior writing skills, Law Review, Journal, or Moot Court membership are preferred.
- For New York office: Candidates should have an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in life or physical sciences (., chemistry, biology, biochemistry, engineering or similar).
- For Chicago, Palo Alto, and Washington . offices: Candidates should have an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
Salary Information:
- The salary wage for this position is $4,327 per week.
