Job Overview:
A distinguished and award-winning law firm is seeking a Partner-Level Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience to join its thriving employment and labor law practice. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who is passionate about representing plaintiffs and ready to step into a leadership role, managing associates and contributing to the growth of a highly respected legal team. Location:

  • Annapolis, Maryland

Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex labor and employment law matters, including litigation and negotiations

  • Oversee case strategy, research, discovery, pleadings, and court appearances

  • Manage and mentor associate attorneys to ensure case progression and legal excellence

  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing high-level legal counsel and case updates

  • Participate in business development efforts (a portable book of business is welcomed but not required)

  • Engage in firm initiatives to foster professional growth and client service excellence

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience (labor and employment law experience strongly preferred)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation cases independently

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal and client communication abilities

  • Proven ability to mentor and lead junior attorneys

  • Commitment to high professional and ethical standards

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with at least one . state bar

  • Admission to practice in Maryland and/or . preferred

Skills:

  • Strategic litigation planning and execution

  • Team leadership and staff mentoring

  • Client development and relationship management

  • Proficiency with legal technology and case management platforms (a plus)

  • Collaborative, solution-focused work ethic
