Job Title: Sourcing Senior Claims Resolution Specialist Bodily Injury
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, investigate, and resolve attorney-represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims.
- Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and settle claims within prescribed authority levels.
- Identify potential suspicious claims and refer to Special Investigations Unit (SIU); identify opportunities for third-party subrogation.
- Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences; report to Home Office and local management on status.
- Confer with trial counsel and prepare trial reports.
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information regarding claims; refer tasks to auxiliary resources as necessary and advise on the proper course of action.
- Respond to various written and telephone inquiries, including status reports.
- Ensure adequacy of reserves.
- Be accountable for the security of financial processing of claims and the security of information contained in claims files.
- Update files and provide comprehensive reports as required.
- Manage the practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.
Education and Experience Information:
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Good interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in legal liability, general insurance policy coverage, and State Tort Law.
- Capabilities, skills, and knowledge are normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 12-18 months of directly related experience required.
- Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty Experience.
- 2+ years of Attorney Represented Experience.
Salary Information:
- Minimum Salary: USD $60,.
- Maximum Salary: USD $94,.
- Typical Starting Salary: $68,500 to $85,500.
- Flexible Time Off Annual Accrual: 15 days.
Additional Information:
- The role requires two days in office per month. Applicants must reside within a 50-mile radius of Lake Mary, FL.
- The position will start sometime in the early to late Fall of 2025.
- Applicants from WA, ID, and CA are not being considered at this time.
