Law Clerk (Non-Bar Member) must have current enrollment in a Juris Doctor program at an accredited school of law, in good standing and within six months of graduation (if selected, offer will be contingent upon proof of both graduation and eligibility to take the California Bar Examination).

2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with judicial officers and others in the workplace.

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds, and the ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds. The ability to sit for extended periods of time; sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a personal computer keyboard and other office equipment; and the ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.

Working Conditions: This position operates in an office environment and may require fieldwork. The incumbent may be required to travel within Los Angeles County.

The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 . to 5:00 . Work schedule may vary based on the needs of the Court.
