Job Title: Coverage Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of complex civil litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Be well-versed in all types of litigation defense practices.
- Handle all aspects of cases assigned, from inception to jury defense.
- Engage in direct client contact and market skills and capabilities for additional work.
- Collaborate with other accomplished lawyers within the office and across the law firm, managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Education and Experience Information:
- Must be licensed to practice law in Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois (having a license in Illinois is a plus).
- Must have litigation or trial experience ranging from 1 to 3 years.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills are required.
- Must possess excellent writing and analytical skills.
