About the Governor's Summer Internship Program (GSI):
- Designed for college students to gain real-world experience in their desired field of study

A Day in the Life:
- Assisting the Employee Relations legal team in responding to EEOC and Indiana Civil Rights charges
- Providing consultation and guidance to agency executives and local office staff
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal employment regulations
- Developing and presenting training to employees and HR professionals
- Reviewing and making recommendations on policy and procedure changes
Requirements for Success:
- Currently enrolled as a law student with an accredited law school
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
- Highly motivated and willing to learn
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Observant and proactive in asking questions
