Job Responsibilities
Law clerks play a pivotal role in the development of the law by assisting in the drafting of opinions, concurrences, and dissents. The responsibilities include:
- Conducting exceptional legal research
- Reviewing briefs and other filings
- Preparing Justice Bronni for oral arguments
- Drafting memoranda
- Assisting with the Court’s administrative functions
Education and Experience Information
Applicants must be graduates of law school or on track to graduate before August 2025. An exceptional academic record is required. While graduation from a top-tier law school and membership in law review or similar journals is preferred, applicants should also demonstrate:
- Outstanding research and writing skills
- Familiarity and interest in constitutional law and statutory interpretation
- An interest in broader legal developments
Salary Information
The annual salary for this position begins at $95,000 and increases with experience. This is in the context of being in the fourth most affordable state in America.
