Job Title: Student Intern
Job Responsibilities:
- Interns are assigned to a specific section within the **Members Only** (DOL), allowing them to specialize in areas such as education law, civil rights litigation, complex financial transactions, or child protection proceedings.
- Perform a full range of law clerk responsibilities, including legal research and writing.
- Observe a wide range of lawyering activities such as court proceedings, client meetings, depositions, and other special events.
- Participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year.
Education and Experience Information:
- The internship is open to law students only.
- Opportunities are available during the summer break, fall semester, and spring semester.
Salary Information:
- The internship is unpaid.
Additional Information:
- Interns may apply to work in one of 11 sections based in Newark, 14 sections based in Trenton, or 1 section in Voorhees.
