Job Title: Student Internships, Summer
Job Responsibilities:
- Interns will perform the full range of law clerk responsibilities, including conducting legal research and writing.
- Interns will have the opportunity to observe a wide range of lawyering activities, such as court proceedings, client meetings, depositions, and other special events.
- Interns may participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year.
Education and Experience Information:
- This internship is available to law students only.
- Interns are assigned to a specific section within the Division of Law, allowing them to specialize in areas of interest such as education law, civil rights litigation, complex financial transactions, or child protection proceedings.
Salary Information:
- The internship is unpaid.
Additional Information:
- The internship is offered during the summer break, fall semester, and spring semester.
- s may apply to work in one of 11 sections based in Newark, 14 sections based in Trenton, or 1 section in Voorhees.
- The deadline for the summer program is March 5.
