Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a full caseload of misdemeanor and felony criminal matters

  • Handle all stages of criminal defense from investigation to resolution

  • Conduct discovery, negotiate plea deals, and prepare cases for trial

  • Take cases to trial when necessary

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex and high-profile matters

  • Maintain strong communication with clients and court personnel

  • Represent the firm positively in court, in the community, and online

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in criminal law (exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered)

  • Strong courtroom skills and willingness to take cases to trial

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and dedication

  • Commitment to going above and beyond to secure the best outcome for clients

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (required)

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills

  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Effective communicator with clients, colleagues, and court officials

  • Self-starter with a strong team mentality
