Tax Senior, International Tax - Global Strategies Group
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior, the primary responsibilities include working within an engagement team to provide tax compliance and consulting services to multinational clients, focusing on the tax implications of their international operations. You will identify both basic and complex tax issues, providing analysis and recommendations. Key duties involve:
- Assisting clients with implementing specific international tax structures and processes.
- Overseeing and preparing complex tax computation projects for clients across various industries.
- Researching and preparing materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations.
- Assisting in preparing materials for brainstorming sessions both internally and with clients, including with non-tax stakeholders such as treasury, accounting, and legal departments.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, preferably with a focus on international taxation.
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average, depending on the work and clients served.
- One of the following active accreditations is required, obtained, in process, or the candidate must be willing and able to obtain: Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or various Technology Certifications.
Preferred:
- An advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience with Big 4, public accounting, or consulting is advantageous.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this position takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, along with other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is between $78,960 to $167,180. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to its governing rules, where an award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
