Job Title: Tax Director - Global Information Reporting
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Director specializing in Global Information Reporting within the Finance Consulting category, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and consulting services related to financial management and strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance on global tax information reporting and withholding rules.
- Leading business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and driving growth.
- Making critical decisions that influence client outcomes and enhance client satisfaction.
- Managing and shaping client engagements to align with strategic objectives.
- Mentoring and developing emerging leaders within the company.
- Fostering a culture where both technology and people can thrive together.
- Overseeing various projects to ensure they align with the firm’s strategic goals.
- Maintaining the company's standards of quality and integrity, including adherence to professional and technical standards, the firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Must hold a CPA, be an Enrolled Agent, or an Active Member of the Bar.
- Preferred educational backgrounds include Management Information Systems & Accounting, Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or Taxation.
- Experience in providing guidance to clients regarding compliance with global tax information reporting.
- Capable of researching complex tax issues and reaching valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in reviewing US IRS tax forms and related tax documentary evidence.
- Experience in leading staff in preparing and filing information returns.
- Ability to develop innovative technology solutions to increase efficiency.
- Experience in training and managing local staff.
- Proficient in executing client engagements to meet statutory, regulatory, and project-based deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the Tax Director position is between $150,000 and $438,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. This range applies to roles based in Maryland, and actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
