Job Title: State and Local Tax Financial Services Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage client service accounts and engagement workstreams within the State and Local Tax Financial Services team.
- Develop, mentor, and supervise team members to deliver top-quality results.
- Independently tackle and resolve intricate problems, ensuring deliverables meet high standards.
- Foster and maintain significant client relationships, acting as a visible leader to cultivate meaningful interactions.
- Inspire and guide teams through ambiguous scenarios, providing clarity and direction.
- Maintain the company's quality standards and support the firm's strategic objectives.
- Leverage technology and innovation to boost efficiency and effectiveness in tax advisory services.
- Drive initiatives in digitization and automation to provide impactful client solutions.
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making processes.
- Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients, using this perspective to build consensus and create positive outcomes.
- Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points for clarity.
- Uphold the company's code of ethics and business conduct.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for the position.
- A Master's Degree is preferred but not required.
- Broad knowledge in partnership tax compliance is advantageous.
- Proficiency in tax return production and audit defense is preferred.
- Experience in tax consulting and structuring is beneficial.
- Strong client relationship management skills are essential.
- Proven leadership experience in supervising and coaching teams is required.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $98,300 - $266,000 annually.
- Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
- Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
- The position also offers a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
